A404, Room 1, We just declared that it is a 'Holiday Room'.
When you step into the room, you will send yourself into a stress free mode, and drift into a 'yam cha' mode or just pure laziness. It's already the 5th week. Von and I felt as though we are in our 3 months summer break. I'm so lazy this semester. I don't know why. I felt that I have lost the energy, or perhaps just pure lethargic-ness.
I skipped the management lecture 2 weeks in a row. The thought of the lecture just sends me further into dream land, as I refuse to rise from my bed. Glued to my comfort pillow. I enjoy the tutorial though, it's like a summary of important points that i need to know. Screen theories is fun so far, movies every week. What kinda course would offer such joy and fun subject? So far we have watched Casablanca, Battleship of Potemkin, Un Chien Andalou and Double Indemnity. All four are in black and white, some are film noir, some are voiceless.LOL, i think the scary part haven't kicked in yet. The part where we have to critically analyze it using screen theories for our assignment. Hmmmm...Internatonal Relations, no comment, all about conflict and conflict. Sickening. Radio and Tv, Love the practical work, sound programmes and editing. Have been skipping lecture for that subject too.
Ahh, what have gotten into me? I never really miss my classes. Am I getting tired already? Am I too occupied? Am i spending too lil' time with myself? My piano is giving me worries as well, improving in slug mode.
Better rest now. May peace be with me. May sweet dreams too, i have been having rather strange and nightmarish dreams lately. For example, i dreamt taht 6 tooth fell off my jaw, being chased (nothing new), speaking to the death, hauntings....ah..can't remember. I should keep a dream journal soon since i have such gruesome and strange dream.

The Smokey Land Day!
Today is the haziest day. I don't understand why do we have to bear with the haze annually. Don’t these people have any self-conscience in their mind besides profit and easy work? Burn, Burn, Let it Burn…Cheap way of disposing agricultural trash bits and clearing up the forest. The scorching sun and hot weather definitely encourage such kind of act. Lately, Sunway have been hit by the haze, very bad indeed. Does the Indonesian government ever bother to take action or at least teach them some better way to clear the land? This is not a political post, the haze every year is just more than i can bear anymore. It's been nearly 7-8 years or even more. We just take it in silently as though it is some annual storm that hits Malaysia and we are suppose to get use to it.
I always thought haze was nothing much. Maybe the effect does not really kick in until you start getting side effects or immediate effects from the haze. I woke up every morning with smoke smell wherever I go. My towel, my bed sheet, my fresh laundry, hair..ah you name it..It’s like you cant escape it, trapped in the box like some insect being fogged. Everywhere you go, there is the smoke. Guess what? People could still fog the area during the haze season. Hahah... I remember reading one optimistic comment about the haze "It's good that there is haze, less mosquito breeding". There have been dengue over around KL before the haze hits. So,they have been fogging the area quite often.
I was the hero of the day. I seems to see haze as nothing except for the nausea feeling that it gave me everyday. I actually travelled to KL during the worst haze reading for that day. Maybe nearly 400 for Sunway that day. Well, the stupid hero got herself slight eye irritation that day. Then, the following day, the flu kicks in. Now i finally understand the danger of haze.
Besides that, i was so geared up to jog everyday around the hostel. It was record breaking because i actually continued my regime on the second day as well. Then, on the third day, the haze kicks in! DArn! Mission failed.
Went back to Taiping to escape the haze or at least somewhere i could finally smell fresh air again. Somehow, the haze followed me back.
Well, That's all for my haze story!

Bankok Post: First Day
The taxi to the airport arrived at 9am in front of Suet's place. Yi Shu, Yaseer and I spent a night over her place. Her mum cooked us a wonderful dinner last night. It was the curried turmeric chicken! Totally delicious and must have!
We load our bags in the boot and started believing that the day that we have been waiting for is finally here. We were an hour early there we are suppose to fly at 2plus. The Air Asia flight got delayed again. As usual. So the 20 of us were there. They are Suet, Yi Shu, Sze Mun, Joanna, May Yee, Fikri, Meng Yoe, Kerry, Juliha, Shazanah, Aaron, Sasi, Dr. Yeoh, Yaseer, Aaron, Wani, Sze Ning, Malina, Sarah and I. Linora and Benji could not make it that day, and Eva too. I think i havent had a school trip since Form 5. It was great to be travelling with a bunch of friend. Good company, good laugh.
Well, how can be forget Yi Shu who got a panic attack for awhile when she could not find her passport when we were about to board. She realise that she left it in the toilet and we went searching for the wrong toilet as well. LOL..well..thank god its still there.
We reached at about 3 plus. Bangkok is such a hot place. Then, we took a cab to our inn. Its called Sawasdee Krungtep Inn, around Khao San area. I shared a cab with Sze Mun, Aaron and Kerry. The taxi man got a bit lost. We passed by the Soi Rambutri lane but we did not turn in. So, we kind of skidded off and had a mini joy ride around Khao San. In the end, we got the cheapest taxi fare after all the sight seeing and getting lost. I think the cab driver is till rather new or just nice or havent learnt the skill to con foreigners. Khao San is a nice place, with lots of tempting goods to buy along the street.
For the first time, i actually felt so strange not being to communicate properly with the locals. We went up to freshen up before dinner. Our Thai guides arrived around 6pm and they took us to this restaurant called Tom Yam Kung. They are Orn, Sharif, Can, Nutra and few more. We had a wonderful dinner. We ordered the Tom Yam Kung, tamarind soup with omellete and prawns, thai style tempura with sweet sauce, fried bread, steamed fish, Thai otak-otak, Thai salad (squid and salted egg), mixed vegetable and our staple food, rice.
Then, we were off to Khao San to walk around....Then we call the night off. The hotel (backpackers inn) is rather pleasant. It was not as bad as i expected. My mosquito repellent and coil was not needed at all there. Sighh..waste of money buying it.

Josie and Joy
Joy is finaly back! So good to meet up with old friends. Josie as well a.k.a. Joshua. We met up in KLCC. Life is filled with coincidence or perhaps fate. When Joy was on the way to the bus stop, she bumped into Wannie who happens to be there to buy her bus ticket back to Taiping. She was suppose to get back home, but then luckilly she managed to stay. Before she could call to ask her mum, the phone rang. It was her mum.
It was great to see her in front of Cinnabon with Joy. Hehehe..the more the merrier!
Oh yeah, was back early in KL for the performance on the 16th. Had such a great dinner on Sunday. We had our first rehearsal on Sunday with Terry, Kingsley, Tina and Steven. They brought me to a Brazilian restaurant to eat. I was expecting mamak that night and Tina was craving for 'Char Koay Teow'. Dinner was brilliant. It was buffet style. The salad and appetizer bar is at the corner. Then, the meat is served to you in a skewer. They have fish, chicken, different part beef, cooked pineapple, lamb, turkey ham and sausage. It was yummy~! They slice the meat straight onto your plate. You can always ask for more. Then, they joke about how you better not complain about your food in this place, cause the waiter holds a very sharp knife with them. For those who are interested...here is the address:
Carnaval Churrascaria
77, Jln. SS22/19, 47400, Petaling Jaya. Tel: 03-77252252
It's around RM 50 per head. It has a nice environment and air conditioned plus it serves wine as well. A definite place to go for meat lovers!

Through the Eyes
Some says that in life, we wear different masks when we interact with different types of people. The way we communicate with our parents, friends, boss and colleagues carries a different pattern in terms of manners and words we use. To me, i would say that we not only wear different masks but we also wear different eyes spectacles to view the world. However, not many owe a pair of good spectacles but it is not impossible. All you need is a just a bit of determination, faith and imagination.
Maybe then, you will find your own neverland.
I love Johnny Depp's charater James Barrie in 'Finding Neverland'. The movie was a bit dull in the beginning, but i like the way he view things. A simple scene about kids jumping around on the bed can be transformed into kids leaping and flying out of the window to neverland. Then he came up with the play Peter Pan. That's what interesting about movies and theatres. They draws you into landscape you might or could not imagine. It also transports you to worlds that you do not believe it exists at all, making you want to believe and reach it. It allows you to see the world with a different spectacles.
Besides that, the character Edward Bloom in Big Fish is very inspiring as well. Death, seems to be feared by most people. Gypsy predictions and fortune tellings can be disturbing. However, it is just a point of view. It is how you see it basically. The world can take a turn if you could see it in the other way round, the bright side. Check out these quotes from Big Fish :
"I was thinking about death and all. About seeing how you’re gonna die. I mean, on one hand, if dying was all you thought about, it could kind of screw you up. But it could kind of help you, couldn’t it? Because you’d know that everything else you can survive" .
"Did you ever think maybe you’re not too big? Maybe this town’s just too small".
"You think this town is too small for you, well, it’s too small for a man of my ambition".
Well, something to ponder upon for me. I think this post is getting too long. Will rest now and hopefully no more mosquito attack! I will end it this quote from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Ben's words to Luke.
"You're going to find that many truth that we cling on depend greatly on our own point of view".

Flab or Weight Obsession
"Oh look my butt is getting bigger!", "Shit, I ate too much today!", "My arms and thighs are shaking", "Tummy is bulging out", and “Am I fat?" ....and the list goes on. These are such frequent quotes among women lately. In fact, I am sick of it! It can get so tiring sometimes. Some complained that they are fat but I could hardly see a bit of it. Some said they ate too much but what they had is maybe two slices of bread with tuna for lunch? It's nice to be a bit fleshy, it would be nicer to hug wouldn’t' it? Somehow, society see fleshy as fat! Oh dear...
People trying to look like models, desiring for long and skinny legs and small ass. Well, no matter how hard you try, you won't look like one of those mannequins on display or models. Well, not impossible if you are willing to go through the pain of lipo-suction or surgery. Fashion these days and the way clothes are designed forces us to be thin, plus the influences from media and fashion magazines as well. I could rarely find a shop that does not sell clothes which are catered for mannequins instead of how the human size varies these days. With exception, foreign label clothes that will offer a bigger size than those by the local boutiques that usually offers free size or their large size seems halved.
The fastest and only way to having a good body is through exercise and healthy diet. Besides, looking like a skeleton is not beautiful. For some who opt for exercise and healthy diet, they develop an obsession for it. Some won't really realize that they are overdoing it. C'mon, how long are you going to live in this world? When you are in your 40s or 50s, you will have to watch out for your diet already. These are due to fear of cholesterol and health purposes. So, if you start avoiding all kinds of delicious food in your 20s or teens, you are missing out a lot in life. Dieting does not make you thinner other than giving you a flat stomach. You will still have flabby arms and thighs even though you shrink in size! HAH! Aneroxic-ly ugly! The moral of this crap is eating all you like and exercise after that.
I am no exception from this 'thin is beautiful' ideology.
However, I am fighting it. Sometimes, I wish I had smaller thighs. One of my famous quotes is 'Look! I have tsunami wave’s thighs'. It's true, but that's because I am a bump and I do not exercise much. However, I still feed on mashed potato, pastas, pizzas, ice cream, fried food, late night supper sometimes but not obsessively. I am proud of that :). All I desire is a nice and toned lower half. I don't want to look like a stick or with bones jutting out. Fleshy is good. I don't want to be called 'Ms. Olive' or 'I could play guitar on your chest' or 'Ouch..your bones has just poked

Back to my Humble shack
After a week plus in Taiping, it was definitely nice to be back in KL. I was all busy again. Miss my pillow and blanket! Ahh..cant live without those.
The room was filled with dust. As usual, i started mopping all over the place and it was as black as ink. Yucky! Then, i just sat down and enjoy my japanese drama and enjoying mum's home cook food. Love the stew pork with fungus and preserved vegetable. Chinese delicacies that you dont find around Sunway very often.
I am getting realy excited for my Bangkok trip. Its a mix feeling. A bit scared, nervous, excited and happy to see a new place. Its my first voyage to Bangkok, land of angels and somewhere which speak a language that i would not understand. I will be picking up some basic Thai this weekend..till then..ciao

Real Life Paperboy Game
It was a bright sunny but hazy afternoon...
However, when i was driving around town today, i was faced with all kind of obstacles. Some was frusfrating that makes me cursed the whole way. Some are just frightening. It just reminded me of the paperboy game where the player is suppose to avoid all obstacle which includes human, animals and cars that would suddenly appear in front of you, while delivering the newspaper. The only difference is this is REAL. I thought i would be in for an accident soon or someone will die without knowing why. First corner, there was a bicycle cycling steadily by the road and i slower my car just in case he will swing out of allignment. And my prediction was correct. Next, people crossing the road as though they are no cars on the road and without needing to look left or right. Cars that fly out of the junction and expect those on the straight road to stop for them. Cars that is in front of you can suddenly stop. Then only the signal comes in. Wow! I am suppose to read their mind that they intend to pull over at the side of the road.
X-box? Play station? I don't think i need all those two to enjoy a nice arcade game. What can be more exciting than your very own and real arcade game. All you need is a car and the location, which is Malaysia. The trick is to drive down the Malaysian road and you will get the same thrill that you will get in an arcade station when you play those car racing games. Only better. Nah, i'm not preaching on racing on the road but how ugly can Malaysian drivers be. At one moment, i was wondering if i am actually behind a joystick or a stearing wheel today.

Dream a lil' dream
Dreams are such fragile objects. It could be shattered with just a single word or phrase. However, that will only happen if you let it get into you. Somehow, the universe is kind to souls who are open to messages around them. If we learn to interprete signs within your environment, you will receive messages that constantly remind you of your dreams. Well, not only your dreams, sometimes it helps to solve what is troubling you subconsciously or consciously.
God and angels are not the only being that will give you answers. Sometimes, they scattered all the answers around you. It could be hidden in your books, movies, music, people you meet and even unanimated objects. We are creatures that constantly need to be reminded of what we want, what we would like to be or what our dreams are. Obstacles sometimes loosen your hope for what you want. Sometimes we even crave for approval so much that we loses our confidence when we do not get it. You begin to doubt and then the FAILURE word appears. Fear looms. Damn it! Damn it!
I have been staying up late till 4 am gawking over movies in Hallmark channel. Yes, to some it is a bloody boring channel. Somehow, these few days i have been watching nearly 4-5 movies in total which is being aired after midnight. All of it speaks of the same theme. It has got to do with 'chasing after your dreams', 'music', 'its never too late', 'be what you want to be' and more music..
Today, i watched The Sandy Bottom Orchestra. It's about music again and how they work hard to gather people around the small town for a charity performance. It's a small ensemble. There was a pianist who repress what she used to love, playing the piano. Then there was the uncanny when she recites her senior recital piece which she used to play.
Oh dear, my communication studies are back again. I can't believe i sat and talk about oedipal complex and freud and his funky theories and foucault and patriarchal and identity construction to wannie and cjeh. My mercy! I hope i did not spread the headache to you people.
Time to shut up and sign off now. Zzzzzzzz.

Sailing back In Time
I have a problem sleeping at night when i'm home. This is really strange. I keep feeling that i am running out of time and i have so much to do. Or maybe, I am just missing my pillow and blanket back at my hostel, which I regret I did not bring it home. Sigh. And look at what I am doing now, blogging crappy stuff and thinking above what is needed.
I thought of my grandma when I saw the movie (Back when we were grown up) on Hallmark just now. Memories just flashed back. The scene on how they celebrated their grandfather's 100th birthday and what a jolly good fella he is. I have never met mine. Sometimes I do wonder what kind of person would he be.
My grandma is a petite lady with strong traits. I believe that she would make it big if she had the chance to study back when she was younger. Her cute lil' 'dong shan' slang and jargon she has when she speaks Cantonese will always be remembered. She loves to tend to her garden every morning. I could still remember her daily ritual everyday. Busy as a bee.
Firstly, she will rise as early as 7 a.m. when her ancient alarm clock (those that u need to wind up every night to function) rings. Next, she would spend quite a while grooming herself in the bathroom while sitting on her stool and a plastic basin beside her feet. Then, she will start washing her clothes with the brown soap (cap kapak, that's all i remembered). Purely traditional way. No modern detergent nor washing machine. Next, she would hang her clothes outside on the wire with wooden pegs.
Her garden is her priceless possession. There were all kinds of vegetables and herbs there, till we moved to our new place. It has been cut into half. We used to have a creepy crawly bean plant, sugar cane, 'pegaga', aloe vera, pandan leaf and a few other species that i could not identified the name. Every morning she would pluck off the weeds while sitting on her stool and in the evening she would water them with the leftover water (after washing rice). I don't remember any synthetic fertilizers used but purely fish bones or anchovies scraps. Now the garden is barren. There is only the bean plant that reminds me of her. That makes a delicious soup.
There are a few dishes that she specializes in. The yam cake and 'jin tui' ( some flour balls that is served during CNY, don't know what it is called in English). She could sit for hours as she slowly roll the flour or grate the yam. I love looking at her collection of old coins, some as old as 1915, ancient locks and also some of her embroidery. Its beautiful. As a kid, i used to watch her sew her own clothes and even buttons (made of cloth)! We rarely see those type of buttons these days. She would sit near the main door as she starts her work.
I could write on and on about her. I will just type whatever that crosses my head for now. Being back home can be wonderful but sometimes you are being reminded of so many things. The house never look the same each time I return. So does the town. Attachment equals to suffering.

Getting What You Wish For..What's Next?
Sometimes in life, we wish so hard for something...When we finally get it, what's next? But not for everything in life of course..
I wanted my exams to finish soon because i have so much to do. When it's finally over, i forgot what i wanted to do. Blank. Double blank.
I sat in front of the computer for the past few days, downloading songs non stop for hours without realising the clock was ticking away. Songs that i used to love so much, forgotten as years passed by. It felt so good to be able to hear it again. It also felt so good that i was able to sit in front of the computer to chat, to play games and to surf away without worrying when is the next assignment's due date. No guilt. Practising my pieces without time limit. Singing karaoke without guilt. Shopping and wasting time in Times Square. Just filling up the time of the day. Lazy to blog when i have the free time. Too busy blogging when i have so little time to spare.
I wanted the semester to end fast. Now it has ended. Somehow I miss it. People come and go in your life really fast. This process has speed up for me in the university. One semester equals to four months in Monash but equals to several years for me. The experience is too rich, relationships happens so soon, people click and depart so quickly as well as so much memories has been formed in just four months. Strange but wonderful :D. To those whose path have crossed mine, its been wonderful knowing you and i really appreaciate you.
I wanted to go home so much. So now i am home. What's next? Feeling a lil' bored now. I think what makes Taiping interesting is your family, old friends, memories, childhood and the beauty as well as serenity of this place. Without all these, there is nothing here. Misty hills and trees and moss, haven't seen that for a month already. Nothing has changed much when i took a cab home just now. As we grow older, the less familiar faces can be seen in this town. Back in school, we used to joke about how we would end up in one of those coffee shops or lake gardens in the morning as we yak the rest of our life away when we are old. Most of them have gone to the city or abroad. I wonder if i would see those faces again when i am 70.
We think too much sometimes that we forget to enjoy the present. We focus too much on the ugly side of life that we felt that we are the unluckiest human on earth. There got to be some good and positive bit in the most horrible situation you ever experience. You just have to look closely. The simplest and wonderful things in life are just in front of you. We overlook it because we keep wishing for more and more. We are suffering inside because we amplified the sad side. When we have nothing to wish for anymore, we just go blank when we get what we want. So, keep in mind:

Father's Day
This year's father's day was spent in my uncle's place. Dad had dinner with his friends for Father's Day, Mum's in Genting, bro is in college and I am still in KL. I was supposed to be back this Sunday but my dad says there's no need to rush home. So i stayed over in my aunt's place.
Few hours before dinner, we went out to shop for grocerries. Then, we head over to Jusco for certain ingredients that is not available from the grocery store such as smoked cheese, bacon, prawns and few other items.
We had a blast on Sunday, more like a feast, specially prepared for my uncle by both of my cousins. I contributed two very simple dish :). Tuar boiled ABC soup and i cooked Indian curried long beans as well as fried omellete with preserved lettuce and chilli. We are the Asian cooks for the day ..haha.
Next, we present the super chef Sy Yun. She prepared some western style dishes that includes, fried dory fish and chips, prawn with salmon and bacon cheese dip as well as a bowl of salad. It's amazing to see how she work on the garnishing on all the 3 dishes. Serving your food with nice bowls and plates does give a boost to your presentation as well. To complete the meal, we had Baileys, orange juice and screwdriver (Vodka+orange juice). Baileys (choc milk with alcohol) was a wrong choice for such a heavy dinner, we were too bloated to finish it up.
Cooking is fun. Cleaning up is the suckiest part. Tuar and I was having a massive backache after that. Getting old :*( or just lack of exercise :P muahahah!
GOing to keep this post short and sweet! Till then!

Fun Fun Fun
Class finishes on Wed for this week! Yayyy! No PR classs on THurs! So am off to my cousin's place after Andrew's.
Waited for an hour in the foyer, then we went for the famous and delicious pork ball noodle that Wannie is talking about all this while! It's really superb and heavenly!! YUmmmyyyyyyyyyyy! Then, reached back home at 3.30pm..just in time to pack and rush into my Chia Ling's car. Cousin came just right after i got home. Next destination, SUmmit! We walked around the place while we wait for 5.00 pm (Seed of Chucky starts then). The movie was alright, felt like my childhood has came back again...they sencored so many part (pissing off) and i realised that all this while i watched Chucky on VCD. I get to witness all those slashing...somehow that movie seems to be out of time now. It's predictable...too predictable. As usualy, chucky never dies (spoiler bit :P).
Next, we went for dinner in Asian Cafe. Had a great meal there. Fried abalone mushroom (yummy), some spanish rice (taste a bit burnt), cheesebake rice (i was too full for it because it was the last item to reach), satay, dumplings and the 'zhar jiang mian' (looks really delicious and big, should have ordered that. Johnson fetched my cousin and i back to her place. I am stuffed, so was she. We just slept off after hanging out in Sy's room for a while. Yu san was there too that night.
The next day (19th may), we were off to NEway! YAyay..i havent had my karaoke doses for quite some time liao! Chia Ling pops in halfway because she overslept (suppose to work that day). Then, after Neway, i bought a pair of sandals and we met this guy who looks like wu ke qun (cute!). Hahhaha..We hang out in Chia Ling's house after Neway. Her room is really neat, and her aunt's place is really neat and compact (awesome interior)! She made us tiny lil bread with spread (butter, peanut butter). Basically, she stuffed us. We had like 8 slices of it plus coffee and my cousin's rice. Goshh..very stuffed. When we got home to cousins' place, Sy made spaghetti that evening..stuffed again...But it was delicioussssss!
At night, we went out with Uncle Singh. He's a police and he was telling us about all the interesting stories of him , his dad and other topics too. It was a really enlightening night. His dad just passed away (my condolences) and cousin basically asked him out to cheer him up. We were suppose to go for longan milk but we ended up in Genting and liquor. Chatted the whole night, took a tour around the casino too..got back home and slept at 3 am. Too tired to chat ...
Next morning (22nd), piano class at 10! I sounded really rotten this week...ahh..felt so bad again..lack of practice :( I must work harder for the next class! After that, got home just in time for Kingsley practice! Spent some time chatting with Penny while Brian and Sasha was teaching the juniours how to do rock n roll for the performance..ehhehe
Came home and fixed my bloody comp again. I don't know how many times have i reformatted this semester...TIRED! SO TIRED OF REFORMATTING IT!
*breathess**...Such an exhausting weekend..Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Grace is back! A404 reunion!
15th May- Dim Sum for breakfast! Yayyy :D We bump into bei too on that morning! Kl ain't that big afterall, hehehe..So long since i have spoke to her, thanks to those bloody assignments and workload. So we planned for a catch up session the next day. The breakfast was really heavy i think, coz i did not chomp on any food till about 9pm at night. It's amazing how my stomach can last that long before it starts to cry. Eva's mum dropped me back that afternoon.
As usual, got back home i reached for the bathroom to shower and crash to bed after that. Lack of sleep from the night before. When i woke up, Von said that we are going to some Mexican place for dinner with A404 gang. It's been so long since all of use actually hang out together for a dinner, used to be everyday when everyone is stil around. Then, the plan changed to TGI Fridays coz its nearer to Josie's place and so we can fetch her. Everyone was suppose to wear skirt that night, its like a girly night out! It's been long!
The gals present that night was Grace (back from singapore), Seau Yean (long time no see), JOsie, Nithia, Ev, Von, Jeff ( Joker No. 1) and I! Too bad Ayushna din make it that night..if not it would be a full reunion dinner! Had a feast again at night! The food was awesome..finally had my Queso..that would stop my craving for cheese for a while. It's strange, i crave for cheese everytime exam is near or when my assignment is piling up. We had dessert..finally tasted the mudpie (yummyyy! my fav!), then the brownie (its warm and chocolate-ty!) and the sundae (too stuffed to appreciate that).
Jeff was cracking endless jokes that night. He showed us his 'ah beng' way of flipping his panasonic phone. Then, his lawyer stories and all. Nit was resisting food the whole night with bf excuse(Smack! Wake up and be free yourself!Exercise is the best solution!). So good to see everyone actually. Reminiscence of the past, back to where the wild days of A404....We don't need any Einstein time machine to go back in time, just the right company.
Back home in the hostel, we started snapping pictures of ourselves (perasan case)..hehehe Then Zzzzzzz after a whole dose of MTV from my collection..
Grace left the next day early in da' morning..din get to say goodbye also...yikes..Anyway, if ya reading this woman...Do come and visit us again and take care :D!

A Contemplating Saturday
The weather was extremely hot today. I sat at the bus stop, waiting for the bus to KJ Lrt. They took like nearly 50 minutes to reach, I thought i have counted my time wrongly or so. I was suppose to meet Eva at 4pm but ended up half an hour late because of the bus. When, her car came..we head over to the Buddhist Gem Fellowship centre. I was there to support her for her speech competition and i did not know it was organized by a buddhist fellowship. It was nice to revisit this kinda place again, i remember i used to go for dana offering and also dharma talk back in secondary school days. Missed those :D
The place is really clean and neat, reminds me of a Japanese home shrine and also some Zen place..heheh. Incense was consumating the whole place all the time. Peaceful and pleasant. Then, the folks there were busy packing CD for distribution at one corner and the participants were busy rehearsing their speech. I really do admire people who could do nice speeches, something which i haven't really mastered and try out. I remember how i made a fool out of myself in the Interact Club speech during some Leadership training course. *sighh* *embarassing* :P
Then i went scouting around the place, i landed in the books corner. I was really impressed on how the the sales of books were done. Trust Basis. There is a small box that contains money at the side. In order to buy the books there, we just need to fill up the slip and place the amount of money for the books that you intend to buy. It's a self service sales and payment. I got myself '108 Treasures of the Heart' and 3 boxex of incense (rather cheap) and also 2 more books which is free for distribution.
Then, the competition began at 7pm after some refreshment. We were served with vegetarian food. The vegetarian beef ball was delicious :D. Eva's speech was about 'The Greatest Gift of All'. There are a few other stories that i personally liked too by the other participants (One is about her own experience as a monk for 2 weeks, another about a hillarious version of 3 little pigs and others) They have great moral values in every story that goes hand in hand with the motto ' To build a better tomorrow'. Every guest that attend the competition is given a piece of paper to judge the participants. Then, the night ended or perhaps just began?
Eva's parents brought us gals ( eva, elaine and I) for a nice supper (it's more to a dinner) in Souled Out in Hartamas area. It was an awesome place. We had a like fiest, i think her parents are really proud of her taht night. There were a variety of drinks that we tried out ( baileys, wine, macadamia shake and etc.) plus snacks (naan, fried tauhu, satay, chicken wings and etc.). We got back home at 12am. We did not sleep till like 5 am i think. 12-1 was spent gaga-ing over David tao's video and also chatting away. Fixing Eva's comp too, it's so slow (woman u need to defract your comp when is needed before the fragmented files piled up! :P) Then 2am is the David Tao interview and we yak for awhile till we fell asleep at 5am.

End of Assignment Phase 2 (partially)
End of PR assignment (Phew), end of PR presentation and exam (phew)...And finally, figured out my Research Question! ...I was left with this space of emptiness, i think i was too busy for the past 2 weeks and suddenly i just had one more assignment to go...Weirdd...I was walking up and down my cafeteria and foyer, dunno where to head to, like some lost souls..It was thursday, end of class for the week..
Then...i bump into JAsmine, Sandra, Jess, fay and Jenny. They had a plan, and i just went for it. We watched Kingdom of Heaven, took pictures from those ah lian machines, bought a pair of chopstick (nice wood texture) and had dinner at the hostelite dinner. Somehow, when the Thai bazaaar is around in Pyramid...i always have sore throat, thus i failed to taste their tom yam for the 3rd time..Damnn!
My cousin is not around this weekend, they are up in Genting. So i had to go to Bukit Jalil tomorrow from SUnway and without any practices for the week..Felt so bad. Then i was late for my music rehearsal too! I reached at 3.30pm in the physics lab..the rehearsal has just finished! Oopppsss..felt so bad againnn...
Anyway, this weekend will be spent on preparing my Research Proposal presentation...hope everythign goes well!
