Candles of Hope

Havent made these for quite a long time. These were selling like hot-cakes back in my secondary school for the school's Fund raising festival. I have almost forgotten the 'Do's and 'Dont's' in the process of making these star-shaped candles. For instance, 'do not freeze it too long in the freezer or the ends will break', using the correct raw material or the result and colours would be different and others. So, after two long weeks, i have only managed to produce 15 perfect ones excluding the broken and distorted ones plus juggling with my job. Very tiring indeed. However, its very nostalgic, flashback from secondary school time when we have to produce about 200 over candles that comes in a few other shapes beside these. We have more people doing it together and also enough tools to help speed up the candle making process. Hahaha... What i have here in KL is just two pots to support the mold and one- man show.

Well, its all for the good cause. Thank you for those for have bought these candles during the Mini 6-Hour Famine Camp in Encore Music. The profit from these candles will be donated to the World Vision Fund to help children in starvation and poverty around the world.
