Fun Fun Fun

Class finishes on Wed for this week! Yayyy! No PR classs on THurs! So am off to my cousin's place after Andrew's.

Waited for an hour in the foyer, then we went for the famous and delicious pork ball noodle that Wannie is talking about all this while! It's really superb and heavenly!! YUmmmyyyyyyyyyyy! Then, reached back home at 3.30pm..just in time to pack and rush into my Chia Ling's car. Cousin came just right after i got home. Next destination, SUmmit! We walked around the place while we wait for 5.00 pm (Seed of Chucky starts then). The movie was alright, felt like my childhood has came back again...they sencored so many part (pissing off) and i realised that all this while i watched Chucky on VCD. I get to witness all those slashing...somehow that movie seems to be out of time now. It's predictable...too predictable. As usualy, chucky never dies (spoiler bit :P).

Next, we went for dinner in Asian Cafe. Had a great meal there. Fried abalone mushroom (yummy), some spanish rice (taste a bit burnt), cheesebake rice (i was too full for it because it was the last item to reach), satay, dumplings and the 'zhar jiang mian' (looks really delicious and big, should have ordered that. Johnson fetched my cousin and i back to her place. I am stuffed, so was she. We just slept off after hanging out in Sy's room for a while. Yu san was there too that night.

The next day (19th may), we were off to NEway! YAyay..i havent had my karaoke doses for quite some time liao! Chia Ling pops in halfway because she overslept (suppose to work that day). Then, after Neway, i bought a pair of sandals and we met this guy who looks like wu ke qun (cute!). Hahhaha..We hang out in Chia Ling's house after Neway. Her room is really neat, and her aunt's place is really neat and compact (awesome interior)! She made us tiny lil bread with spread (butter, peanut butter). Basically, she stuffed us. We had like 8 slices of it plus coffee and my cousin's rice. Goshh..very stuffed. When we got home to cousins' place, Sy made spaghetti that evening..stuffed again...But it was delicioussssss!

At night, we went out with Uncle Singh. He's a police and he was telling us about all the interesting stories of him , his dad and other topics too. It was a really enlightening night. His dad just passed away (my condolences) and cousin basically asked him out to cheer him up. We were suppose to go for longan milk but we ended up in Genting and liquor. Chatted the whole night, took a tour around the casino too..got back home and slept at 3 am. Too tired to chat ...

Next morning (22nd), piano class at 10! I sounded really rotten this week...ahh..felt so bad again..lack of practice :( I must work harder for the next class! After that, got home just in time for Kingsley practice! Spent some time chatting with Penny while Brian and Sasha was teaching the juniours how to do rock n roll for the performance..ehhehe

Came home and fixed my bloody comp again. I don't know how many times have i reformatted this semester...TIRED! SO TIRED OF REFORMATTING IT!

*breathess**...Such an exhausting weekend..Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Grace is back! A404 reunion!

15th May- Dim Sum for breakfast! Yayyy :D We bump into bei too on that morning! Kl ain't that big afterall, hehehe..So long since i have spoke to her, thanks to those bloody assignments and workload. So we planned for a catch up session the next day. The breakfast was really heavy i think, coz i did not chomp on any food till about 9pm at night. It's amazing how my stomach can last that long before it starts to cry. Eva's mum dropped me back that afternoon.

As usual, got back home i reached for the bathroom to shower and crash to bed after that. Lack of sleep from the night before. When i woke up, Von said that we are going to some Mexican place for dinner with A404 gang. It's been so long since all of use actually hang out together for a dinner, used to be everyday when everyone is stil around. Then, the plan changed to TGI Fridays coz its nearer to Josie's place and so we can fetch her. Everyone was suppose to wear skirt that night, its like a girly night out! It's been long!

The gals present that night was Grace (back from singapore), Seau Yean (long time no see), JOsie, Nithia, Ev, Von, Jeff ( Joker No. 1) and I! Too bad Ayushna din make it that night..if not it would be a full reunion dinner! Had a feast again at night! The food was awesome..finally had my Queso..that would stop my craving for cheese for a while. It's strange, i crave for cheese everytime exam is near or when my assignment is piling up. We had dessert..finally tasted the mudpie (yummyyy! my fav!), then the brownie (its warm and chocolate-ty!) and the sundae (too stuffed to appreciate that).

Jeff was cracking endless jokes that night. He showed us his 'ah beng' way of flipping his panasonic phone. Then, his lawyer stories and all. Nit was resisting food the whole night with bf excuse(Smack! Wake up and be free yourself!Exercise is the best solution!). So good to see everyone actually. Reminiscence of the past, back to where the wild days of A404....We don't need any Einstein time machine to go back in time, just the right company.

Back home in the hostel, we started snapping pictures of ourselves (perasan case)..hehehe Then Zzzzzzz after a whole dose of MTV from my collection..

Grace left the next day early in da' morning..din get to say goodbye also...yikes..Anyway, if ya reading this woman...Do come and visit us again and take care :D!

A Contemplating Saturday

The weather was extremely hot today. I sat at the bus stop, waiting for the bus to KJ Lrt. They took like nearly 50 minutes to reach, I thought i have counted my time wrongly or so. I was suppose to meet Eva at 4pm but ended up half an hour late because of the bus. When, her car came..we head over to the Buddhist Gem Fellowship centre. I was there to support her for her speech competition and i did not know it was organized by a buddhist fellowship. It was nice to revisit this kinda place again, i remember i used to go for dana offering and also dharma talk back in secondary school days. Missed those :D

The place is really clean and neat, reminds me of a Japanese home shrine and also some Zen place..heheh. Incense was consumating the whole place all the time. Peaceful and pleasant. Then, the folks there were busy packing CD for distribution at one corner and the participants were busy rehearsing their speech. I really do admire people who could do nice speeches, something which i haven't really mastered and try out. I remember how i made a fool out of myself in the Interact Club speech during some Leadership training course. *sighh* *embarassing* :P

Then i went scouting around the place, i landed in the books corner. I was really impressed on how the the sales of books were done. Trust Basis. There is a small box that contains money at the side. In order to buy the books there, we just need to fill up the slip and place the amount of money for the books that you intend to buy. It's a self service sales and payment. I got myself '108 Treasures of the Heart' and 3 boxex of incense (rather cheap) and also 2 more books which is free for distribution.

Then, the competition began at 7pm after some refreshment. We were served with vegetarian food. The vegetarian beef ball was delicious :D. Eva's speech was about 'The Greatest Gift of All'. There are a few other stories that i personally liked too by the other participants (One is about her own experience as a monk for 2 weeks, another about a hillarious version of 3 little pigs and others) They have great moral values in every story that goes hand in hand with the motto ' To build a better tomorrow'. Every guest that attend the competition is given a piece of paper to judge the participants. Then, the night ended or perhaps just began?

Eva's parents brought us gals ( eva, elaine and I) for a nice supper (it's more to a dinner) in Souled Out in Hartamas area. It was an awesome place. We had a like fiest, i think her parents are really proud of her taht night. There were a variety of drinks that we tried out ( baileys, wine, macadamia shake and etc.) plus snacks (naan, fried tauhu, satay, chicken wings and etc.). We got back home at 12am. We did not sleep till like 5 am i think. 12-1 was spent gaga-ing over David tao's video and also chatting away. Fixing Eva's comp too, it's so slow (woman u need to defract your comp when is needed before the fragmented files piled up! :P) Then 2am is the David Tao interview and we yak for awhile till we fell asleep at 5am.

End of Assignment Phase 2 (partially)

End of PR assignment (Phew), end of PR presentation and exam (phew)...And finally, figured out my Research Question! ...I was left with this space of emptiness, i think i was too busy for the past 2 weeks and suddenly i just had one more assignment to go...Weirdd...I was walking up and down my cafeteria and foyer, dunno where to head to, like some lost souls..It was thursday, end of class for the week..

Then...i bump into JAsmine, Sandra, Jess, fay and Jenny. They had a plan, and i just went for it. We watched Kingdom of Heaven, took pictures from those ah lian machines, bought a pair of chopstick (nice wood texture) and had dinner at the hostelite dinner. Somehow, when the Thai bazaaar is around in Pyramid...i always have sore throat, thus i failed to taste their tom yam for the 3rd time..Damnn!

My cousin is not around this weekend, they are up in Genting. So i had to go to Bukit Jalil tomorrow from SUnway and without any practices for the week..Felt so bad. Then i was late for my music rehearsal too! I reached at 3.30pm in the physics lab..the rehearsal has just finished! Oopppsss..felt so bad againnn...

Anyway, this weekend will be spent on preparing my Research Proposal presentation...hope everythign goes well!

Go Go Girls!

Today is da' big day! Not for me though, Hahahha..for wannie and EV and suet! We started our journey at 9 am, Joe came and picked us girls up. Firstly, we went for breakfast around Taman Sea area after we picked up Hup Hee (joe's friend. Then, we were all set to go to Times Square. We reached there at 11 am or so. Met Suet and her friend there who came much earlier. She went into a series of naggin that we were late(lack of sleep syndrome as well as no breakfast, sigh). Told her that the plan was to have breakfast like the day before? Anyway, then we were quite early perhaps. The crowd wasn't a lot...but we waited for quite some time for them to be auditioned.

However, there were lunch break at 1.30 pm and the participants are suppose to come back at 2.30pm. Wannie happens to be in the session after the lunch break. Only Suet got in for the real audition.

It was really shocking to know that this is the pre-audition where they see whether you are fit for the real audition. So, my friends did not get to meet the judges but more of meeting the production crew in the pre-audition.

Anyway, it was not a futile attempt, we got like goodies from BP and clean n clear! A whole bag of goodies with sweets and biscuits and soft toy (urk)....

Got home, we just lay dead there....Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bad bad week

So glad that the bad luck streak is over, i was so sick after i got back on 1st may. It was a flu gone bad. At first, i was coughing a lot and then the flu kicked in. NExt, there was difficulty in breathing at night, the throat starts to itch everytime i lie down and i will just burst into cough suddenly in the middle of the night. On thursday, i couldnt take it anymore, it was unbearable to go on with my condition. The flu does not seem to heal and my face looks really pale. I went straight to the doc. My medication cost me RM 53! Ahhhh..1 antibiotic and the 4 other kind for flu and bla bla.

I just slept off after the first dose, woke up feeling dizzy and weak. I realise it was the lack of food intake before the medication. I nearly fainted in the toilet because of that. hehehee..Anyway, the next day was all better, but not better enough to join my wacky friends to 'buat lawak' in the Malaysian Idol audition.Saturday 7th may) came, my comp crashed and i had to reformat it again. Thank god i manage to move my PR assignment in time, if not it will be all gone gone gone!

CLOSING DOWN

There are thoughts to shut down this blog, but it is still under consideration...hmmmm ... What do you think?

Anyway, 'My Mind's Drama' (http://liyien.blogspot.com) will be still around. That would be updated more often. So head over there first before you drop by here to see if there is any updates ;P

This semester have been weird, i have never felt so busy for the last 3 semester. One assignment after another...haven't got the time for myself. At least to think or enjoy a nice day without having to worry for the next assignment. I guess i'm just being a panic queen all the time

Bloody Pickpocket

Well well! ATTENTION EVERYONE! My handphone got pickpocketed last weekend, on the 29th of April! So dun try calling my old number 0124178048...U can if you want, can either try bugging the barger who stole it from me or enter my voicemail..

Pudu bus station..To those who are not familiar with it, do read carefully:

It is the worst place to be but that is the only place to go home, unless if you do plan to take the plane. It's hot, stuffy, filled with weird people, pickpockets, dirty, smokey and packed. This is the place where you will meet lots of rudee and very rude malaysians. They either knock you without and apology or steal your stuff when you are least not aware.

BEWARE 1: WAlk really fast to where you are heading when you are
there

BEWARE 2: Be alert at all times!

BEWARE 3: NO hanging on the phone while walking

BEWARE 4: Just get the hell out of that place as soon as possible!!

Oh one more thing, those strings that hang out of your handphone, make sure they are ALL and NEATLY tucked insidee yoru pocket or bag, orr..u will risk your handphone being stolen, just like mine. It's so sad that we have a really beautiful airport in KL but the worst bus stop in KL! Taiping might be small, but they have a better bus station than that! WaAyy cleanerr...don't believe me? take a bus down and see for yourself :D
