Strange Feelings

We (Wendy, Lor and i) were out to Chambers Music yesterday. The store is rather small but we felt at home there. The strange feelings that we get when we sat in the store, in just a small space with a few stools. THere is a large and tall shelf, filled with music books. We were just sitting there and browsing happily at the book. I wish that i could owe the whole shelf though, a range of books for clarinet, flute, violin, guitars and a whole range of music genres there.

Why strange? I think we have never felt happier being in that small music store. I think even if there is a storm or the world is gonna end that day, it just gives me great comfort to be just sitting in the store, staring at all the various instruments available in store. Though i hope i could touch it, the cello sitting majestically on the window display. My fingers ran on the wood, nice and earthy feeling. I could imagine the sound that can be heard when i bow the strings. Niceee...mellow..comforting for the soul. The baby grand on display looks too tempting, i wish i could owe that too...LOL..what a dream..

I guess i do really agree with Tower Record's motto 'NO MUSIC, NO LIFE'. I realise what have been missing in my life this whole semester. Lots of jamming session! It just makes me feel so empty. THe three of us used to just hang out in audi 7 and just jam some tunes freely. These days, or should i say since they renovated the place, we kinda lost place of comfort. Since Wendy left too, we kinda lost another music friend which lives nearby. We do talk about it all the time when we meet this semester :). HOpefully this coming holiday, we could do some work together..maybe in the future as well..LIke Lor said, a music school and orchestra of our own :)

There is no musical going on lately for me as well, it is the exam fever period. I'm glad that this semester i had a chance to join and feel what it is like to play in a violin ensemble. The feeling is euphoric, the same feelings that i feel whenever i enter any music store. The only difference is, it is much more greater! Hmmm...time to get back to work, finals on monday and i'm still bowing my strings non-stop every night...oh dear..hahaha...

I guess that is the only portable instrument that i have now to keep me alive and pushes me to study for my exams! Everyone out there who is having exams! I would like to wish them good luck! To those who doesnt, make the most out of your present moments :) Sayonaraa!!
