Wednesday seems to be THE night off weekly for this year, I would try my best to make it as empty or fill it with hanging out with my friends.
Yesterday, was spent with Neets, Dino and Wannie. It has been quite some time since I last saw them, except for Neet where we have coffee together the previous week. Dinner at Vietnam Kitchen, not too bad. The tofu was not fantastic in the set meal, the rest are all right, still taste rather Chinese.
My stomach have been killing me since Monday night. I have no idea why. Even till this morning. I swear I could just sleep on the toilet bowl of my school toilet. There is so much of wind inside. It all started on my gluttony on Monday, with the 'rojak' way of stuffing things in my stomach. I had Siam Belacan Fried Rice, a few bites of Baked Cheese Seafood and Carbonara, topping it up with two cups of teh tarik and a bottle of beer. It got me for indigestion for the night. Felt sick on Tuesday morning that I have to take MC which I think it is food poisoning or too much tea. My whole body felt limp and wind in the stomach. Doesnt seem to have much appetite. arrgghh..hate to be sick esp not knowing what's wrong. Will head to the doc if it persists.
Despite all the mumbo jumbo in the body, I saw a touching movie yesterday night with the babes. 'Up'. The animation was brilliant in terms of the story line. In the first half hour or less, they sum up a couple's life since childhood till old age, until the wife passes on. Then, the next part goes into the next chapter of the husband's life. A wonderful movie about cycle of life, death, love, courage and adventure. He met this cute lil boy Russel, and along with other companions. Sometimes in life, you have a dream and you get so frusfrated that it did not come true. And when you finally find it, ordinary as it can be. It is not the dream you had that makes life so sweet, it is the people and events you meet along the way that makes it so awesome! The path that you were directed into unconsciously that has more gems in it than the one you dream of walking upon. Up is about that or maybe much more. When you finally close the past chapters, you will be able to venture on to the new ones. That is also if you could let go of everything to see what you have at present. These are simple ways to live life, sometimes as adults we forget through the material world and seas of work, being rigid and grumpy.
My favourite part of the movie is the pictures in the scrape book (The Adventure Book). Lovely moments.Besides, Russel is entertaining and the script is clever as well as funny besides the touching moments which are most often unspoken.
Signing off for the day :)
